Common questions
Does every piece come with a certificate?
Yes. Every piece comes with an FID house card that states its metal, total carat weight and diamond details.
Which stones come with an IGI report?
Every stone of 1.00 ct or more comes with a report from IGI, the International Gemological Institute. IGI is an independent laboratory, so the grading is theirs and not ours.
How do I check an IGI report?
Each IGI report carries a report number. Enter that number on the IGI website to see the report held in their records.
Can I have a GIA report?
Yes, on request, for a fee of $150. Tell us before you place your order so we can arrange it.
What about stones without an IGI report?
They are covered by the FID house card. If you would like an independent report as well, ask us about a GIA report on request.
Where do I see this before I buy?
Each product page shows the certification for that piece beside the price, together with its metal and carat weight.
